Mons Penck és un promontori situat en la cara visible de la Lluna, just al nord-est del cràter Kant; i al nord de Ibn-Rushd i del cingle Rupes Altai. Al sud-est de Mons Penck apareixen els prominents cràters Teòfil i Ciril.

Les coordenades selenográficas d'aquest cim són 10,0° de latitud sud i 21,6° de longitud est. Té un diàmetre d'aproximadament 30 km a la base i s'eleva uns 4 km sobre el terreny circumdant. Deu el seu nom al geògraf i geòleg alemany Albrecht Penck (1858–1945).[1]
