Buzhgan District (Persian: بخش بوژگان) is in Torbat-e Jam County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Nilshahr.[3]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 18,400 in 3,916 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 19,209 people in 4,612 households,[5] by which time the village of Ahmadabad-e Sowlat had been elevated to the status of a city.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 20,976 inhabitants in 5,522 households.[2]
