Grand Boulevard is a QLINE streetcar station in the New Center district of Detroit, Michigan.[1] The station opened for service on May 12, 2017, and is the line's northern terminus.[2]

Station

Grand Boulevard is the nearest QLINE station to Cadillac Place, the Hotel St. Regis, and the Fisher Building and Fisher Theatre.[3] Henry Ford Health is the station's presenting sponsor, and its Henry Ford Hospital is located roughly ¾ of a mile to the west.[4] The station is heated and features security cameras, emergency phones, passenger information displays, and Wi-Fi.[5]

Terminating northbound streetcars drop off their passengers on the east side of the platform, then proceed north through a switch to a single-track line, where a short overhead power rail allows streetcars to stop and charge before switching directions to head back south. The Penske Tech Center, the QLINE's garage and operations facility, is located two blocks to the north along the single-track line.
