Show map of India Hindupur railway station (station code:HUP[1]) is a main railway station in Sri Sathya Sai district, Andhra Pradesh. Its code is HUP. It serves Hindupur city. The station consists of four platforms. Water and sanitation facility available. Bridge over platforms available and escalator work going on. 2 Passenger Trains starts from Hindupur to Bangalore and Gunakal in morning and same returns to Hindupur in evening. Hindupur - Kadiri new route survey done and later cancelled by lack of support from local political interest.[2] The station is administered under Bangalore division of South Western Railway zone.[3][4]
