Footnotes

  1. ^ In the summer of 1970, Oţelul split into two new teams, FC Galaţi which continued on to play in Divizia B (the current FCM Dunărea Galaţi), and Dacia Galaţi which played in Divizia C.
For the 1972-73 season, Dacia was renamed back to Oţelul.
  2. ^ Following this relegation, the club was dissolved, and workers from the local – now ArcelorMittal – steel plant, form a new team.
  3. ^ Even though they won the promotion, the team split, again. The Divizia B spot and part of the players were given to Victoria Tecuci, team which managed to relegate within their first season. The other part of the players, under a new team name – Metalosport – got to keep their place in Divizia C.
  4. ^ The newly formed team, Metalosport managed to win the league within their first year. Following Metalosport's promotion, they were renamed back to Oţelul, for the 1982-83 season.
  1. ^ Goals in all competitions are counted.
