Gurukripa Career Institute (GCI) is an Indian education company established in the year 2007 mainly catering to the candidates who intend to prepare for the examination of National eligibility cum Entrance test (NEET) and Joint Entrance exam (JEE). It was founded in the year 2007 and is a joint venture of Pradeep Budania and Rajesh Kulhari located in Sikar, Rajasthan. The story of the institute from its beginning to 2024 turned out to be the reverse, over 1000 staff members being employed.

History

The Gurukripa Career Institute was up and running since 2007 and was founded by Pradeep Budania and Rajesh Kulhari. They primarily focused on deciphering the different aspects of National eligibility cum Entrance test (NEET) and Joint Entrance exam (JEE).[1] The Institute, which operated in a single rented building in Sikar first, now has expanded to three major cities (Sikar, Jaipur and Alwar) in Rajasthan and now has a total of 20 buildings under its control as per August 2024.

Nav Prerna School is another one of the affiliated schools of Gurukripa’s organisation which has been applauded for the help in the studies, children. Among these is Priyan Sain who was the winner in the Miss Earth 2023 pageant.

Expansion and Achievements

As per Times of India and The Indian Express research revealed that, In 2023 Sikar outperformed Kota in National eligibility cum Entrance test (NEET) .[2][3][4] The achievement of Gurukripa Career Institute has been credited to the disciplined study method and drive of its students.

As per the report from The Indian Express noted that Gurukripa’s involvement in Sikar has played a vital role in the city becoming a coaching centre for students getting ready, for National eligibility cum Entrance test (NEET) and Joint Entrance exam (JEE) exams.[2][3]

Incidents and Challenges

Building Sealing

In September 2024, Gurukripa Career Institute centres along with Kalam Coaching Centers in Jaipur were sealed by local authorities due to alleged violations of building safety regulations.[5] The closure affected education of hundreds of students and investigations into the incident are still ongoing.

Theft Incident

Gurukripa Hostel was the site of a major theft in which Rs. 1.7 crore of cash was stolen. Seven suspects, including the hostel warden, were arrested. The theft raised concerns over security at the institute's hostels and leading to heightened scrutiny and investigations.[6]
