Simantro (Greek: Σήμαντρο, before 1927: Λαμπάνοβον – Lampanovon),[2] is a village and a community of the Voio municipality.[3] Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Neapoli, of which it was a municipal district.[3] The 2021 census recorded 29 inhabitants in the village.[1]

The 1920 Greek census recorded 186 people in the village, and 180 inhabitants (35 families) were Muslim in 1923.[4] Following the Greek–Turkish population exchange, Greek refugee families in Lampanovon were from Pontus (49) in 1926.[4] The 1928 Greek census recorded 141 village inhabitants.[4] In 1928, the refugee families numbered 46 (172 people).[4]
