Srungarapuram is a village in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Duggirala mandal of Tenali revenue division.[2]

Geography

Srungarapuram is situated to the north of the mandal headquarters, Duggirala,[4] at 16°23′17″N 80°38′21″E / 16.387961°N 80.6393°E / 16.387961; 80.6393. It is spread over an area of 357 ha (880 acres).[2]

Government and politics

Srungarapuram gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[1] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member.[5] The village forms a part of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region and is under the jurisdiction of APCRDA.[6]

Education

As per the school information report for the academic year 2018–19, the village has a total of 2 schools. These schools include 1 private and 1 MPP schools.[7]
