The Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (Russian: Татарская Автономная Советская Социалистическая Республика; Tatar: Татарстан Автономияле Совет Социалистик Республикасы), abbreviated as Tatar ASSR (Russian: Татарская АССР; Tatar: Татарстан АССР) or TASSR (Russian: ТАССР; Tatar: ТАССР) (1920–1990), was an autonomous republic of the Russian SFSR.
