Wierchomla Wielka [vʲɛrˈxɔmla ˈvʲɛlka] (Ukrainian: Верхомля Велика, Verkhomlia Velyka) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Piwniczna-Zdrój, within Nowy Sącz County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) east of Piwniczna-Zdrój, 25 km (16 mi) south of Nowy Sącz, and 95 km (59 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków.[1]
