Eugene G. Munroe (Detroit, 8 de septiembre de 1919 - Ontario, 31 de mayo de 2008) fue un entomólogo canadiense que descubrió numerosas especies de insectos. Trabajó para la Unidad de Control Biológico y Sistemática de Insectos, División de Entomología en Ottawa, Canadá.^[1]​

Munroe fue "la autoridad reconocida en Pyraloidea en todo el mundo durante muchos años".^[1]​ De 1976 a 1982, también se desempeñó como Editor Jefe de Moths of America North of Mexico.^[1]​
