Pachydactylus otaviensis est une espèce de geckos de la famille des Gekkonidae[1].
Répartition
Cette espèce est endémique de la région d'Oshikoto en Namibie[1].
Description
L'holotype de Pachydactylus otaviensis[2], un mâle adulte, mesure 39,4 mm, queue non comprise. Cette dernière est d'une longueur équivalente à celle du corps.
Étymologie
Son nom d'espèce, composé de otavi et du suffixe latin -ensis, « qui vit dans, qui habite », lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, l'Otaviberge[2].
