バーティル・リントナー (Bertil Lintner、1953年 - ）は、スウェーデンのジャーナリスト・作家・戦略コンサルタントである。長年にわたり、アジアに関する著作を執筆している^[1]。『Far Eastern Economic Review（英語版）』のミャンマー特派員、スウェーデンの日刊紙である『スヴェンスカ・ダーグブラーデット』およびデンマークの『Politiken（英語版）』のアジア特派員をつとめたのち、『アジア・タイムズ』に勤務している。

ミャンマー・インド・中国・北朝鮮などに関する記事を、30カ国以上幅広いメディアに寄稿している^[1]。組織犯罪、民族・政治的反乱、地域安全保障を主な執筆テーマとしており、ビルマと北朝鮮の戦略的協力関係の拡大を明らかにしたはじめてのジャーナリストとして知られている。『Aung San Suu Kyi and Burma's Struggle for Democracy』『lood Brothers: The Criminal Underworld of Asia』『World.Wide.Web: Chinese Migration in the 21st Century—and How It will Change the World, and Great Leader』『Great Leader, Dear Leader: Demystifying North Korea Under The Kim Clan』といった著作がある^[2]。

タイのチェンマイ在住であり、妻はシャン系ビルマ人のセンノウン（Hseng Noung）。1985年から1987年にかけて、彼らはインド北東部からミャンマー北東部の反政府勢力組織支配地域を抜け、中国に至る18ヶ月・2,275 kmの旅行をおこない、道中で娘を得た^[3]。このときの経験をもとにした著作として、『Land of Jade: A Journey from India through Northern Burma to China』がある^[1]。

1993年から1995年にかけて、タイ外国人記者クラブ（英語版）の会長をつとめた。2004年、アジア出版協会（Society of Publishers in Asia）による、北朝鮮に関する報道を功績とした表彰がおこなわれた。また、2014年には同協会により、ミャンマーの宗教対立に関する著作を功績とする別の表彰がおこなわれた^[1]。
