Batrachuperus – rodzaj płazów ogoniastych z podrodziny Hynobiinae w rodzinie kątozębnych (Hynobiidae).
Występowanie
Rodzaj obejmuje gatunki występujące w zachodnich Chinach i sąsiadującej Mjanmie[6].
Systematyka
Etymologia
- Desmodactylus: gr. δεσμος desmos „więź”; δακτυλος daktulos „palec”[7]. Gatunek typowy: Desmodactylus pinchonii David, 1872.
- Batrachuperus (Batrachyperus[a]): gr. βατραχος batrakhos – żaba; υπςρώα ypsroa „podniebienie”[2].
- Tibetuperus: Tybet; końcówka uperus z nazwy Batrachuperus Boulenger, 1878[5]. Gatunek typowy: Batrachuperus yenyuanensis Liu, 1950.
