Medb

Medb (staroirski ispis pronounced [mɛðv]) – srednjoirski: Meḋḃ, Meaḋḃ; rani moderni irski: Meadhbh (pronounced [mɛɣv]); reformirani moderni irski Méabh([mʲeːv]), Medbh; ponekad anglicizirana u Maeve, Maev ili Maive (izgovor /ˈmeɪv/) – je jkraljica Connachta u Ulsterskom ciklusu irske mitologije. U većini priča je njen suprug Ailill mac Máta, iako je prije njega imala nekoliko muževa koji su također bili kraljevi Connachta. U njima je vladala iz Cruachan (danas Rathcroghan, Grofovija Roscommon). Predstavlja se kao neprijatelj (i bivša supruga) Conchobar mac Nesse, kralja Ulstera, a najpoznatija je po tome što je započela Táin Bó Cúailnge ("Otimanje stoke Cooleya") u kome je ukraden rasplodni bik Ulstera.
